help finding a rare batman comic where the joker is a good guy?
when i was younger, i read a comic of batman where he and catwoman were the bad guys and the joker was the commissioner. he took the police force, figured out who they were and chased them down..dont remember the rest. does anyone know of this issue? when it came out?
It sounds like The Joker Jury (Batman #163, 1964). Writer: Bill Finger. Art: Sheldon Moldoff. The Joker does a series of crimes involving Gotham City’s government divisions; he also puts a captured Batman on trial in front of a courtroom full of Jokers. The Joker uses large machines in this story to dominate Batman. He also uses the machinery of the law. The idea of a Joker police force, complete with officers whose face has been made up to resemble the Joker’s. Not only are these men in uniform, but even their faces all look identical.
