Hanna Barbera
did anyone die (as rumored) at the Hanna Barbera land in Spring tx in the 80′s ? why did it close down?
I have never heard anything about a death at Hanna Barbera Land, nor could I find any confirmation that one ever occured, however that does not necessarily mean that a death never occured there, all though I am pretty sure that it would be easy to locate some record of it if it did, which I was not able to do.
Hanna Barbera Land closed because the park was sold to Splash Town USA. The park has lost a lot of money over the years, and has changed hands many times, it went from SplashTown to Bryant Morris, to Six Flags, and is currently owned by PARC Management. In the world of theme parks, it’s all about money, if a park isn’t making enough money to stay open, it closes, and another park usually pops up in its place, that is exactly what occured with Hanna Barbera Land.
