Monsters Filmland

Who won the Famous Monsters of Filmland court battle between Forrest Ackerman & Ray Ferry ?
Its been 7 years since 4E Ackerman & Ray Ferry waged their court battle over Famous Monsters Magazine. I understood that 4E won the case, but I also heard that Ferry was granted the ” rights ” to the FM name because he had ” renewed the rights ” in the 1990s after 4E had allowed them to lapse ?? Despite the fact that Ferry may have filed for these ” rights “; if 4E won the case….why was Ferry allowed to continue to publish his magazine under the FM name ?? Was Ferry in violation of the courts order by continuing to publish FM ? Does anyone really know the particulars of this case ? I know how the outcome of this case impacted upon 4E; but would like to know how it has impacted upon Ferry ?
