Battle Cowl
Is Batman really dead? Will he be resurrected somehow? Will Dick Grayson permanently become the new batman?
The whole RIP, final crisis, last rites and battle for the cowl storylines confuse me. Will he come back? Whats going on/what will happen?
I think Bruce Wayne will be revealed to not actually have been killed, but possibly sent to another parallel Earth or dimension or time, because he was zapped by Darkseid’s Omega Beams. Batman usually has some type of back up plan, so who knows, maybe he had some type of fail-safe planted should such a thing happen to him.
Also, Red Robin, Tim Drake, was shown in his new book to have figured out that Bruce Wayne isn’t dead. It wasn’t revealed how he figured it out or what his reasoning is yet.
This will all probably be temporary, as I don’t think DC will let Bruce Wayne die as there will certainly be another Batman movie, plus most fans know Bruce Wayne as Batman and it’s a money-maker.
The whole Dick Grayson as Batman will be temporary, and when Bruce Wayne returns, it will be interesting to see what Grayson will do. It’s up in the air, and no one really knows.
